David couldn't believe this was not a painting. He didn't think that I had painted it myself but that in my travels I had taken a photograph of a painting that moved me. So I described the hush that came over the room like a comforting shawl as the woman settled carefully on her knees, revealing her heart under the watchful eye of radiant Mary.
