This story is so good it should be a book, I mean, soul mates and all of that because, you see, I was a very rebellious child and so I had to be sent away to a boarding school in Florida—and there I was on that first Monday, just sitting there in the office, without any idea of what was going on, and this boy with rough-cut blond hair and blue eyes kind of breezed through the office and just winked at me—that was Jeremy—and I told the girl that I was living with that I thought he was cute, so we starting going out together—so, then we went out for about a year, but then he broke up with me because I wasn’t Christian enough—he was very serious about that back then—and so I started going with this other boy—actually, the most popular boy in the school—but I still kept flirting with Jeremy, he was always there in the background, kind of—then eventually, I broke up with the other guy, and starting going with Jeremy again, but then I felt like it was time for me to be with my parents again, so I back went to Chicago and started going with this other guy—but then that summer I went back to Florida for a summer job, and I ran into him at a movie theater—just by weird coincidence—so then we started going out again—but then my family moved to California and he came out here to see me, but I just wasn’t ready to deal with him or something—I had a lot of things of my own I was going through, and he said I was being a bitch—anyway, I didn't see him after that—then, after about three years, I just called him out of the blue—it took me about twelve phone calls and he said he was really glad I called because he going to be getting married—it was really depressing, I was totally shocked, and I felt like crying—the phone call lasted only about five minutes—and then, just a few weeks ago, he called me to tell me that he was getting a divorce because his wife decided that she wanted to be with women instead of men and he wanted to come out to see me, and I don’t know why, but I felt like I was going to marry him—I feel like I've known him forever—you know, they say that people who get together when they are very young, you know, like they start going out in high school, well, they either stay together a long time or they have a very high divorce rate—and, well, what do you think, isn’t that incredible?
